allpago wins prestigious payments industry innovation award

allpago is celebrating more recognition from our peers with success in a prestigious payments industry innovation award.

ACI Worldwide, an organization working with thousands of large financial institutions and global merchants, has named allpago as one of its three Merchant Innovation Award winners this year and inducted us into its Hall of Fame, where we join a number of major banks and payment providers.

This award comes as a result of our pioneering work in Latin America, where our payments technology is opening the region to international e-commerce.

The vast majority of e-commerce customers in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina only have access to local payment methods when buying online. Our payments system connects to these methods, enabling millions of e-commerce users to shop with global merchants for the first time.

Craig Saks, Group President for Strategic Products at ACI, told allpago it had “demonstrated exceptional creativity in solving market problems and servicing customers” and was part of “an elite group of organizations from around the world that epitomize the best in payments.”
